Online Estate Agency or High Street.

Deciding to open my own estate agency was a really big step, especially after the pandemic.

Creating a business plan was the first step on this journey, research was always going to be key.

The hardest part in some respects was deciding whether to invest in a high street office or creating a hybrid agency.

A recent Zoopla study showed that 77% of potential buyers used property portals to start their search. With this in mind I came to the decision I would not require a high street presence.

I would be able to run the business just like a traditional estate agency but without the need for staff and premises, which in turn meant lower overheads which could be passed onto my clients.

Valuations and viewings, Epc referrals, conveyancing, access to mortgage advice, I was able to provide all these services and of course no set opening hours meant flexibility.

The ability to save customers hundreds sometimes even thousand of pounds by operating as a Hybrid estate agent, this meant it was ideal for all parties concerned.
